Amanda is a painter, illustrator and graphic designer working in the Philippines. Studied Illustration at Parsons School of Design in New York City with a Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia Arts at College of Saint Benilde in Manila, Philippines. After working as a Jr. Art Director in 2014 for a fashion magazine in the media industry, she was able to venture out in the art industry of Manila. For 8 years, she was able to pursue her love for painting by joining group art shows, group projects that lead her to become one of the published illustrators of Philippine Herbs, creating murals at restaurants in the city to beach resorts and private homes. She found herself working part-time as the first in-house artisan painter of Louis Vuitton Philippines from 2021-2022. She is now a full time professional artist where she paints and collaborates with clients who have the same passion and love for art. Where clients create their ideas through her as an artist; she is the medium of expression by interpreting the clients’ feelings when they see the artwork in their own home that evokes emotion, creativity, memories and communicates the clients’ personality.
Amanda’s work incorporates natural elements in vivid colors that express emotion. Her first watercolor paintings were inspired by her travels from seascapes around South East Asia to urban European and American townscapes. Pulling all colorful memories and moments onto a blank canvas. Her work visually communicates to all ages with the aesthetic expression of concepts, ideas and storytelling using classic art mediums from basic watercolor, acrylic medium to digital art.
